Emeco exited Indonesia.

New global business strategy implemented.

Emeco now operating in Australia, Canada and Chile and focused on providing safe, reliable and maintained rental equipment to the global mining industry.

Ken Lewsey appointed as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Operations established in Chile.

2010 & 2011

Global strategic review and closure of under-performing assets.

2007 & 2008

A number of acquisitions of independent earthmoving equipment rental, sales and parts companies took place in Europe, Australia and the United States.

2006

Emeco listed on the Australian Securities Exchange as ASX code EHL. PEP and Archer exited their interest in the Emeco Group.

2005

Two Australian private equity firms, Pacific Equity Partners and Archer Capital bought Emeco from Darr Equipment Company. Emeco acquired businesses in Canada and Europe and significantly expanded its activities in the United States.

2004

Established operations in Netherlands.

2003

Established US operations in Houston, Texas.

2000

Established operations in Indonesia as Prima Traktor IndoNusa, trading as Emeco.

1997

Darr Equipment Company, a US equipment and forklift company based in Texas, acquired Emeco in 1997.

1992

Emeco had established operations across Australia by 1992.

1985

New South Wales business established.

1972

Emeco (EarthMoving Equipment COmpany) founded as a local equipment supplier to the West Australian market.
